Who are in turn ruled by tradition. Now then, I have tried and TRIED to read this damn I read Gene Wolfe's novels whenever I can find them and those are some pretty tough concepts, every time I think I understand what he's talking about, I find out I was wrong. That has ranked highly because it has written about the topic, i.e The Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake, and has included a lot of related words that surround that term, i.e Titus Alone, Titus Groan, and Titus Awakes. Titus Groan (1946), Gormenghast (1950), Titus Alone (1959). Remarkable as both Titus Groan and Gormenghast are, the third novel in the cycle – Titus Alone – is an equally remarkable book and one which is, sadly, often overshadowed by it predecessors. Sadly, it wasn't written by Peake; he died in 1968.
